Surprisingly, the whole memory loss thing wasn't the most unrealistic aspect of this book. Even though I did enjoy the book I can't deny that there are many things wrong with it that I didn't like.
First of all, characters seem almost robotic and artificial in their behavior. Things they say and the way they act in certain situations is so strange.
Another thing I didn't like was author's depiction of alcohol addiction (addict character who couldn't go a day without alcohol doesn't go thorough withdrawal after quitting??). Also I have to admit that I found the writing to be quite sloppy. You can't tell who's thinking what and every other sentence has a character name in it. It's all "He this, he that..." but it's not clear which "he" it is about. Also giving two characters very similar names (Gunnar and Griffin) is not a way to go. They are very easy to mix up (even the author mixed them up at some point in the book).
Overall, not a horrible book but certainly not great.

Finding Gunnar completely grabbed my attention from the start. As it was a sweet, hot, emotional read. With fantastic characters and a very believable, yet at times heartbreaking story. That I truly enjoyed reading and would happily recommend to others.
