everything felt so… rushed. I wish we had more of grace overcoming her trauma it felt like she was ready despite knowing dominik for like well over a week, but people cope and heal differently so. but it lacked depth is what I’m trying to say. overall I did enjoy a few parts and it wasn’t a terrible read!!

I picked this up because I needed a break from fluffy romcoms, and I read it in one day. Is this a literary masterpiece? No. Did I enjoy it? I sure did!
The plot wasn't super involved so that made for a quick easy read. I am not complaining as we still got it all, romance, spice, mafia disputes, and a HEA. I also really loved some of the side characters and am excited that this will be an interconnected series.
I loved Grace's character, she was not a push over and she actually stood up for herself and her sister. Dominik...hmmm what is not to love about him! He was so patient, sweet, protective and kind and I was here for it. Not to mention some Slovenian and I was invested! I enjoyed their romance, sure it was quick, but again I was reading this for fun so I did not mind!
Looking forward to reading the other characters stories in this series. This was a good palate cleanser for me, it broke up the RomComs but wasn't to involved of a read.

What a banger.
The chemistry between Grace and Dominik was explosive and I found that they matched each others energy well.
You also got the introduction of great side characters so I’m excited to see how each of their stories plays out.
