I love Will and Jem. Tessa did start to irritate me a little since she
kept getting captured during the battle scenes
, but I still love her. It was an ending I was expecting.

I pushed off reading the last chapter and epilogue because I just knew it would destroy me, but I’m just so glad to have finally finished it. What a beautiful story with such a bittersweet ending. I adore Will and Jem, and something inside of me is broken and healed knowing that they both get their happy endings with Tessa.

Phew, that was great. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending, but I do feel like I've gained some forever friends in reading these books. I want to try the City of Bones series again now . . .

3.5. Sort of underwhelming the second time around!

That whole series got me back into reading YA fantasy. The setting is Victorian England and I know it’s basic but I’m in love with this era take it or leave it

What a beautiful and perfect ending.
Im surprised I didn't cry, I don't know if it was because I already knew what was going to happen or because it was mostly a really happy ending for everyone.

I really enjoyed this series. Perhaps more than the writing warranted!

The reading in 2019 left me less enthralled. Too much romance...
