What can I say? Witty, engaging, and simply fantastic. I loved Erebos. I regret having posponed the reading for so long. It's totally worth the read. It's like a puzzle where the pieces start to fit in as the book progresses. I love how everything starts falling into place once you've reached the second half of the book. Erebos is narrated in such a way that you can almost feel like someone is watching you. LOL.

The only thing I didn't "like" is that we don't get to see Ortolan's trial, but I guess he gets convicted for his crime.
Finally, I absolutely recommend this book! Everyone should read it, it's really masterful.

When I first read Erebos at age 11, it immediately became my favourite book. Now, almost a decade later, I can honestly say that it still is. Poznanski is a brilliant writer and Erebos feels like home to me, which is, besides nostalgia, largely due to how well the characters are written.
Stayed up quite a bit after my old lady bedtime to finish this because I just couldn't bear to put it down, so even though the ending wasn't quite as great as the beginning was gripping, it was still a great read.

- Die ersten 300 Seiten waren unerträglich belanglos und ich war schon kurz vorm Abbrechen (was interessieren mich denn bitte irgendwelche komischen Computerspiel- Kämpfe, die dazu auch noch weder spannend noch interessant waren🙄)
- Gegen Mitte ist es dann echt besser geworden und die Spannung hat angezogen und auch die Hintergründe waren sehr gut, da ich am Anfang noch etwas skeptisch angesichts war wie realistisch das alles ist, aber da wurde ich positiv überzeugt.
- Das Ende war mir allerdings trotzdem ein bisschen zu überzogen.
- die Charaktere haben mich echt aufgeregt und ich hätte sie alle am liebsten fest geschüttelt aber die Gruppendynamik kam schon relativ authentisch rüber
Fazit: keine Ahnung, alles was das Spiel angeht, hat mich absolut nicht gejuckt aber die Vermischung mit der Realität war dann doch ganz interessant. Aber insgesamt für meinen Geschmack schlecht umgesetzt.
