Very interesting concept, I'm curious where the story can go after that ending.

I like the premise and I suspect the longer I sit on this the more the psychological intent will come into view. I think it is a grand metaphor!!

However, I’m glad this was such a quick read because some of it was pretty rough.

like:

“Pa does not hear the scream over the engine. Ma dresses the wound, but Pa takes his shotgun and leaves the house.”

It’s a quick read, and probably meant to be deeper than I plan to think about, but the plot left a lot to be desired, the ending left a lot of holes, and I wanted more answers!

forgot about this until I saw I didn’t write a comment. winner of a plot tbh I wasn’t expecting it to hit great it couldn’t have been done better. was constantly wanting to pick the book up to read what would happen next. last third was a little predictable and like okay cool let’s get to the point but solid 3.5-4

why is this so short!!! i wanted to spend more time with molly!! especially the ending, it seemed so abrupt, and though it wrapped the story up nicely, i have so many questions........
