This is what I'm talking about!! Great characters, writing, tension, and concept. I really loved this one and am happy to say that the execution of the story matched the innovative concept. Molly is a great character and may be slightly sociopathic, her parents are interesting, and the horrifying circumstances that arise throughout the story never felt gimmicky or silly. Really well done, I could not put this down!

This is a very short novella horror about a girl named Molly who every time she bleeds a homicidal Molly is born. We get the origin story of how the original Molly was raised and grew up learning how to kill the new Molly’s. The premise was very interesting and I enjoyed reading about her childhood on the farm. I guess the reason I had trouble with the book was because I had more questions as I read that were not fully answered. I also felt that the ending was too quickly explained. I was left wanting more.

A 3.75. This should not have taken me so long to read, but it did. I thought this was a very unique concept, with mind-bending excerpts and enough action to keep the pace. If I wasn’t in such a slump right now this would probably have a higher rating, but alas I’m not. Will I read the sequels, maybe? Again, I think the idea is really neat but I don’t see how it can expand into 2 more books. All in all pretty good and I might reread when I’m in a better reading headspace.
