A short and extremely imaginative horror story about a girl named Molly Southborne. For reasons unknown, whenever Molly bleeds she creates a doppelgänger with an intent to kill her.

I loved the psychological elements of the plot. I was hooked from page one !

I wish this would’ve been a novel instead of a novella to get more background on Molly and her parents. Due to its shortness some parts felt incomplete and unexplored. Overall a great solid read!

TW: suicidal ideation , self harm , body horror.

Summary: Every time she bleeds a murderer is born. Experience the horror of Tade Thompson's The Murders of Molly Southbourne. The rule is simple: don't bleed.

For as long as Molly Southbourne can remember, she's been watching herself die. Whenever she bleeds, another molly is born, identical to her in every way and intent on her destruction.

Molly knows every way to kill herself, but she also knows that as long as she survives she'll be hunted. No matter how well she follows the rules, eventually the mollys will find her. Can Molly find a way to stop the tide of blood, or will she meet her end at the hand of a girl who looks just like her?

My review: Sweet Baby Jesus!!!

I had this book forever on my shelves, it came with my one and only book box I got years ago. I decided to pick this up cause I wanted to read a smaller book that wasn't a comic book.

This book. It's a short one but IT'S AN INTENSE PACKAGE.

I had so many feeling, about the characters, about the whole story. ABOUT EVERYTHING.

I truly want to check out more books by Tade Thompson, cause I truly love his writing and how his mind works to write incredible stories like that, that keep me up all night.

Holy sh*t. Where in the heck did Tade get the idea for this? It is amazing.

This was amazing and well written. I'm very curious what the next book will contain.

Oh this was su unexpectedly good. Like wildly expected.

I need to compose my thoughts on this in a it more depth but this really lived up to everything it promised.

I really really liked this and I want more.
