A great listen when kids are around. Will keep you interested and not scandalize them.
Funny story, makes you think about the "other side" of the fairy tale stories...pretty entertaining...

Very silly story that my kids loved and laughed at as much as I did, great book to listen to together.
A fun read about The Princes Charming. It made me laugh. Each Prince has a distinct personality. Action, fun, dragons, trolls, kingdoms and princesses!
So good! This book tells what happens after the fairy tale ends, giving every "Prince Charming" his own personality. You also learn a lot more about the Princesses, some of who are not very nice at all. Love it and will definitely be buying it for my classroom! Funny!
This is a fun fractured fairy tale about friendships, feminism, and folly.
I routinely recommend this book to kids at the library (generally boys, since there is a glut of princess-rainbow-sparklepoo novels aimed at girls that just do not appeal to these boys. And we wonder why boys stop enjoying reading at a certain age). I loved it the first time I read it and I loved it now. This time, I intend to finish out the series - last time I read it, it was to promote it for a local book award (sadly, it was not chosen as a nominee at the time). But the boys who I recommend this series to are often surprised there is a fantasy/fairy tale book with male main characters that was written within the last 20-30 years.
This is fun, character-driven twist on fairy tales. And not just retelling-type-twists that we’re used to seeing. I love the concept that “Prince Charming” isn’t just one guy, but several different princes who, thanks to the lazy bards telling their tales, all got slapped with the same nickname. All the princes have their strengths and flaws and they all get a moment to shine. I loved the melding of the fairy tales and how they all blended together to make this story work.
And now, I’ve learned the audio version of these books is read by Bronson Pinchot??? Yep. Nearly flawless book series. I’m eager for the rest of it 😊
