This was a fun book to read aloud to the kids. We laughed throughout. A new take on The Princes Charming from four classic fairy tales. Very cleverly put together and the kids wanted to see every illustration as the book progressed.
I liked this book but felt it was too long. I love the idea of hearing the back stories and learning more about the Prince Charmings in fairy tales but I had trouble remembering who was who.
This was sweet and very young. A retelling mixing up the princes from Snow White, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty plus some new characters. There were a few incongruities with how young everyone felt. Duncan was supposed to be married but acted and was drawn to appear about 12-14. It is also somewhat long in that the plot really does not pick up until the end with the middle being fairly unnecessary.
An interesting take on fairy tale heroes. This book is one that I'm sure a lot of my students would enjoy.
I read this book in two sittings within 24 hours and loved every moment!
This is an unbeatable Middle Grade, not only is it perfect for its target age group, but I really think adults can enjoy reading it, as well! I know I kept thinking about my proverbial children, grinning over the day we can all laugh about Duncan (who is the BEST, by the way) together.
There are rumors of a sequel and I pray they are true! I need more of all these fantastic characters!!!

What a fun read! If you are looking for a fun, easy, silly read this is perfect for you. A great story about what happens to the "Prince Charmings" from four major fairy tales. A wonderful tale to read to your kids. If you like audiobooks, Bronson Pinchot (Balky from Perfect Strangers)does an amazing job. His voices are a wonderful addition to an already wonderful book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A quick, fun comedy for all ages. I love the retelling of fairy tales, but only if they are done in highly imaginative or creative ways. Usually that means dark and/or twisted...but this fun take on those tales had me chuckling all the way through and wanting more. The fantastic scenes of dry humor, witty puns, and slapstick comedy reminded so much of all my favorite classic comedies. It was Martin and Lewis, Marx Brothers, and Hope and Crosby...only in tights. :-)
Very fun read. Loved the premise of the multiple "Prince Charmings".
This was great. Highly recommend the audiobook read by Bronson Pinchot!
