I literally picked this up and could not put it back down. From the prologue to the best final line of a story, I absorbed the words, the characters, the delicious slow burn, and every single details. It was simply amazing!

The prologue completely hooked me. I was all in and I just sat and read and absorbed this beautiful story between Logan and Ellie. They were such exceptional characters. Caring and loving and strong and I loved, LOVED, watching their relationship grow from something so pure and innocent to something so much more. I love how it lapsed over time so you see them truly fall for each other. It had a prefect slow burn and I was filled with so much anticipation for them to come together, it was so sweet and meaningful. The longing and the pining, I could feel it. So amazing! I love a build that fills me up, that leaves me greedy wanting more and when you finally get there, you're beside yourself with happiness. An oh man, when they get there, it's pretty freaking fantastic.

This was so well written. It was witty and charming, filled with all these special moments and things that just made it a full, well rounded story. I loved the updates of the other couples from previous books and how everything fit together. I loved the bits of fun and humor and that playfulness between Logan and Ellie, they had a wonderful connection.

Logan was total book boyfriend material but there was something really special about Ellie. I was drawn to her, watching this crush grown into love, knowing how hard her life had been, rooting for her to get her happily ever after, she was just a wonderful heroine. This beautiful, sweet, outgoing, sometimes naïve girl coming into her own was extraordinary. I love her equally as much as Logan, so total girl crush on her as well.

There is a nice bit of mystery happening as well, not super heavy but enough to keep you guessing and I love how that element came into play. Loved the ending and epilogue. Oh my gosh the epilogue. And the very last line of the book. It was the most prefect thing ever.

I have loved this series. Inhaled the books. They've touched me. I've connected to them and the characters fully. With each one I think, it can't get better than this and yet, Emma Chase out does herself every time. This was brilliant and beautiful and romantic and so full of love. A totally addicting read I couldn't put down!

A swoony bodyguard and the Princess’s sister? Now THAT’S what I call a must-read royal romance!

Logan has been protecting Ellie, sister of Princess Olivia, for five years – he’s seen her grow from a girl finishing high school to a young woman ready to take on the world. He’s known that she’s had a crush on him, but the job comes first, no matter how much he wants to act on his growing attraction. Now back in Wessco, awaiting the birth of the royal twins, Ellie realises she hasn’t been living life to the fullest like she always intended, so it’s time to take a leap of faith – confront Logan and see if she can turn her dreams into a reality. But when you’re the sister to the Princess and you’re hooking up with one of the royal family’s top security men, things are bound to unravel. There’s a reason Logan put Ellie into the ‘off-limits’ box, but now that they’ve taken the leap, there’s no going back.

The moment we met Logan and Ellie in the first book, I knew their story would be a good one! And Emma definitely delivered a fun & swoony royal romance read. Logan and Ellie have both been really interesting characters on their own, from what we’ve seen in the previous two books, so it was great to finally get inside their heads and learn more about them, both together and on their own. There’s so much more to them than what we’ve seen through Olivia and Nicholas’ eyes in particular.

A fair chunk of Ellie and Logan’s story is told through time jumps – catching us up on what they’ve been doing during the time period of the previous two books, before we get to the present day after the events of the Royally Matched epilogue. Constant time jumps can make a book feel disjointed, but Emma really made it work, especially because we already had the timeline established during Nicholas and Olivia, and Henry and Sarah’s books. It felt like a nice recap before diving into the current story.

On top of that, Emma gave us so much Olivia and Nicholas and Henry and Sarah content, that it worked really well as a conclusion to this part of the series (with the final book, Royally Yours, going back in time to look at Queen Lenora’s romance). I always love when authors of companion novel series give us a flash-forward wrap up for all their characters, and the epilogue here delivered everything I wanted and more, and has me really excited for the final short story of the series, Royally Raised.

This series has been a fabulous binge read and I’ve loved every moment spent with these characters. Royal romance fans definitely need to jump on this series if they haven’t already!

I thought this was a funny and charming book. The drawn out "will they/won't they" was never boring and I really liked both of the characters. I would have liked to see some of Logan's other relationships during his period in NY with Ellie, and how she would have reacted to that, as I can't imagine he wasn't involved with anyone for the five years that span the book. I also won't spoil the ending, but while I was obviously happy with the resolution, I'm not totally thrilled where Ellie's character ends up given her academic focus in the beginning of the book (will make sense to those who have finished). Really great series overall though!

What I do know, what I’m sure of, is that I would die for Ellie. Kill for her, live for her. The vow echoes through me with every beat of my heart. She is the most important person in my life. She has been from the beginning, and she always will be. There will never be another.
