5 stars. This was more of a slow burn than the first 2 books in the series but omg I loved Ellie and Logan’s story. So much unresolved sexual tension over the years! Logan being all growly and protective, Ellie being all sunshine and fun. Such a wonderful read, I was smiling through most of this. Also loved seeing the couples from book 1 and 2.

I like most books by Emma Chase. This one is no different. While the main characters are a bit annoying, the story still works.

A low-angst and sweet bodyguard romance! While I appreciated that it was a little different with a conflict that wasn't about the "taboo-ness" of a bodyguard/client relationship, I found the third-act conflict to be random, rushed and unsatisfying.

There really wasn't anything wrong with this story. The dynamics between Ellie and Logan were sweet, with Ellie being a ball of sunshine and Logan being a stern brunch daddy :) But....apart from such characterisation, everything else about them was one-dimensional. That the plot comprised mostly of the couples from the previous books was also disappointing. It took the attention away from our main couple.

The pacing towards the end was rushed and definitely didn't match the "slow-burn" between Ellie and Logan that was established in the earlier half of the book.

Apart from the gripes I have with the execution, this was nonetheless a quick read I'd recommend to anyone looking for a simple and sweet romance with really cute couple dynamics.

I unintentionally listened to this entire audiobook in a single day. When I say that this series is immensely bingeable, I am not exaggerating.
This one is off to a bit of a slower start (compared to the others in the series) because it is rehashing things we already know, but Chase is good about using judicious time jumps to age Ellie up so her relationship with Logan isn't creepy (they have a 4 year age difference). It's sweet, it's cheesy, and it has solid spice (Chase is really good at dirty thoughts especially), and it really includes Nick & Olivia and Sarah & Henry in a nice way that makes it necessary to have read the previous books in the series to fully appreciate what happened (or you'll probably be lost at times). Once again, great beach or plane reads when you want something nice and light to devour.
And once again - the audiobook narrator is *chef's kiss* - I will literally listen to ANYTHING Shane East reads.

This book is a big ball of cheese. And I mean that in the best way possible. Who doesn’t love cheese?! Was it predictable? Yes. Did it have surprising parts? Yes! Was it cheesy? Absolutely. Did that bother me? Absolutely not.
I love how the end of this book does such a nice job wrapping up the precious ones, as well.
I listened to the audiobook version of this in 1 day. So…

This is a great series which I think has got better as it continues. In this story it is about the attraction between Logan and Ellie. An attraction that began during the first book in the series. The story is really good, it goes back in time and tells how the attraction began with them and developed. With stories that fall between the first and second book in the series. I loved reading the story and how they tried to resist the attraction. It was a really good funny story that included an epilogue which was a perfect end to the series. Definitely a good book that I will read again and that I recommend. Xxx

Another yummy book by Emma Chase. I accidentally skipped book #2 and listened to this. The audiobook is truly amazing!
Logan St. Jame is a yummy delicious looking bodyguard of Prince Nicholas. He has been assigned to watch Ellie, cheerful cute girl who always try to find good in people.
This is definitely a slow buring romance but god! when they fall in love or more like when they admit that they want each other, it is a hot mess and I am here for the hot mess. Emma Chase is a genuis with her words. This is my second book of her and I am more than happy to read all of her works. I was all happy and giddy and HOT! Do not read or listen to this book in public. You have been warned!
