I LOVEEEEEE this book! It's a 4.5 stars for me! The only reason I rate it that is because I feel like the beginning was hard to follow with the world building and shapeshifter exploration. I had to reread a few times to understand how it all worked, but after that IT WAS EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE IMAGINED!!! A why choose with villains?! Absolutely.

This is what I call character growth. Don't be put off by the FMC in the first book, she grows and comes into her own in the next few books, it's sooo satisfying to read!

Well I'll give the author props for originality. With all of the RH academia books out there this one carves it's own way. That being said some of those choices seemed to be made simply for the sake of absurdity. I found myself shaking my head and laughing at the book (not with it) a few times. 
But if you like your MMCs morally grey and the love interests all very reluctant, then you'll probably enjoy this.
