Did not enjoy this book as much as Part Of Your World. It took too long for them to get together and I'm not a fan of slow burns. I also found it frustrating that they couldn't just communicate. The whole book was both character  assuming what the other was thinking. I appreciated that anxiety was a prominent theme in the book. Jacob's chapters felt like my own internal monologs. Despite the unbearable charcter flaws I still found them likeable.

okay... this was 3.25 stars for me. Maybe not even that now that I think about it. It was so cute and I appreciate that Abby Jimenez always includes real life issues. This time it was anxiety and I swear I've never related so much to Jacob with his anxiety it made me feel seen. But I was 85% through the book and Briana and Jacob were STILL going back and forth of loving each other but not saying shit which okay Briana had some trauma but Jesus. It could have been 10 chapters shorter because they just kept saying how they loved each other and just kept faking it. Then I felt like the end was so rushed because they finally told each other in the last 2 chapters. It was okay not my favorite...

4.5 ⭐️ As someone who has struggled with anxiety my whole life, I really appreciate seeing it in both our MCs. Anxiety can present itself in so many different ways. May we all find someone who loves us exactly as we are. ❤️
