With some very good review's I was waiting to read this one but... I really really dint like this one. I like these kind of books. 'Can you keep secret' or 'Someone Like Her' or Every Boy's got one' etc These books are almost similar, they are ridiculously cute, funny and very nice romance and they are just awesome reads. I loved those books and when I read that reviews of this one I was excited but this one was bad. It was not funny or entertaining or even romantic. I really dint like her leading lady or her friends. Am sorry but I was very disappointed. I was waiting to read 'I heart' series of this writer.. even now I think I will read the book but don't have much hope. May be you will like it as there are many good review's this 2 stars are just from my point of view.
“The single girl’s to do list” este o carte pe care am luat-o mega întâmplător, atunci când eram în Tesco și m-am lovit (a fost destinul, vă zic eu) de secțiunea de cărți. Acum, dacă mă întrebați, nu era o lectură obligatorie/pe care să o mai fi văzut în online/de care să fi auzit. Mi-a plăcut titlul+ un impuls de moment de cumpărături și bum, am mai adăugat o carte la colecție.

This book took ages for me to get into, roughly 100 pages :( but then once it started to get good, I really enjoyed it. So wish I had friends like this!
I'm a big fan of Lindsey Kelk's 'I heart' series and was really looking forward to reading this book. However, I found that it took around 100 pages for me to become really interested and engaged with the characters and the plot. Once the story picked up though it was definitely a great, easy read.

This book got me out of a 5 year reading slump lmao. It was a fun, enjoyable, light, eventful, and overall great book! I LOVED the friendship dynamics in this book. (Dan is my fav character
It's good, but not that special and only up to good. I like the idea of a woman that only knew to be in a relationship all her life finally break free and I like how this book tells story about her coping with the new change, what I don't really like is how cynical she is. And I want friends like Matthew & Em too, without them, Rachel's life will definitely be over.
Rachel Summer's makes To-Do lists persistently. When her long-term boyfriend dumps her, she decides to make a list of things to do as a new singleton.
Along with her friends Matthew and Emelie she finds herself with a compulsive need to do them all in the 2 weeks before her father's 4th wedding.
In theory, I like the idea of this book. What better way to forget about the man who dumped you than by looking to what you can do without him. In practice, most of what they do initially is get drunk, throw up and make questionable life decisions.
Rachel, who is a make up artist, within the first few pages wants to write 'slag' on a model's butt because she's promiscuous, doesn't immediately endear herself. She backs this up by being flummoxed that someone wealthy would want to marry a beautiful model who she deems 'dumb' but not her apparently stellar self, and describing someone's make up as 'tranny like'.
So, honestly, I didn't think a whole lot of her, even though the model in question doesn't seem like the nicest person, promiscuity is hardly the thing to call her out on. Also her inner monologue humour is OTT in the way that following Friends from the POV of Chandler would eventually become tiresome from line after line of bad 'jokes'.
Her friends, also, seem worryingly one dimensional and both similar to each other to the point if they weren't one male and one female they would seem almost interchangeable.
A MONTH maybe of being single and she's engaged in a relationship with a man who had been a dick to her for 6 years and suddenly after maybe 4 conversations she thinks is the love of her life? Yeah...no. Maybe introducing him again as a potential I could take, but that?

Spoiler
I also had issue with the conclusion of a book about how to get over a man resulting in Rachel finding herself in the arms of another man with all this happiness she's achieved by herself.A MONTH maybe of being single and she's engaged in a relationship with a man who had been a dick to her for 6 years and suddenly after maybe 4 conversations she thinks is the love of her life? LOVED IT
This was a quick cute read. Just a small reminder that just because you are in a relationship doesnt mean you have to forget who you are and forget to live your life.
