I mean it was good considering it was a chick-lit for adults and I'm only 16. Still have a hard time facing the fact that I will one day have to let go of my chick-lit YA books and continue on to books for non-teens but this book made me think that my future reads might not be THAT bad after all....

Its a nice summer read. Not exactly enriching literature but it is fun nonetheless.

Oh how I hate this book!
The idea of it was quite promising. I hoped for an empowering book with funny characters, a journey of self-discovery and realisation a girl doesn't need a man to be happy and fulfilled.
The amount of slut-shaming and fat-shaming in this book is just unforgivable. The main character is a self-centred bitch who thinks a breakup is an explanation for behaving like a spoiled brat with no regards to people's feelings. When she acts unprofessionally she is surprised she got fired because in her head cursing at everybody while being hungover is so acceptable during personal problems.
The idea of this book is to get over a boy you need to do a makeover, not get fat and jump into bed with someone else. But also then get quickly engaged with that person because you can't be a slut.
I decided to dnf it because after reading some reviews I realised she is not going to change. It was just not worth it.

Easy breezy read. It was fun, and I read it in a matter of days. Nothing exceptional about this, if I'm being entirely honest but it was fun to see Rachel come into her own as the story progressed. I'm glad she found herself stronger and better. It has an engaging story line, but nothing exceptional.

I thought that this was a lovely and encouraging read with sweet characters - especially Rachel's best friends - and I got exactly what I came for =)

I loved this book, I felt like I was in this story.
I plan on re-reading this book during every break up I have hahahaha :D
Its a funny, feel good book that I think can pull any girl through her problems whilst having a laugh at her cooky friends
funny inspiring lighthearted fast-paced

Easy-breezy summer read. Will leave you with a cheesy smile and the knowledge that a) being single really isn‘t so bad and b) that love is out there.

Makes you smile :)

I loved this book, it was exactly what I wanted to read, I loved the main characters Emelie is such a cool name and the best friends were so good for Rachel and the ending was perfect!
