It's not often that a hard-boiled murder story has this kind of plausible pseudo-science undercurrent and that they both work so well together. This was a quick trip into twisted weirdness and a welcome Sunday morning distraction. Some negative points: I never truly understood why the Zen bastard murder tornado guy showed up in the story - a little deus ex machina, there - and the art style is a little sketchy and sometimes people's faces look too similar for a story with so many background characters. Ultimately, I thought the twisty-turny body swappery worked pretty well, and the story moved so quickly, the negatives were fairly small. Good villians and fight scenes, too.
