I liked Eadlyn sooo much more in this book!
I loved the romance in this as well. Because of that this book was definetely my favorite from this series :)

Fluffy read. She got the love part down like the original series but was really missing some of the action/suspense to elevate it above average.

The Erik/Eikko thing kinda came out of nowhere, especially how they just suddenly loved each other, but I knew Kile would be too obvious for her to chose so I kinda saw it coming. This is what I predicted at the end of The Heir ‘I think the big two competitors are Kile and Erik. My prediction is that she’ll most likely marry Kile but stay friends with Erik.’ I was almost right, I guess

This book made me change my rating of book 4 to 4 stars versus 3. You need to see Eadlyn in the bad to appreciate her growth in the good. I was worried through out she would continue to use her head and not her heart but so happy when Maxon told her the truth and lead her to break the rule and follow her heart.

an incredibly bittersweet ending to this series. started this duo with Maxon & Americans daughter absolutely hating her and ending this duo with absolutely adoring her. Queen Eadlyn impressed me. ❤️
