The book was ok, I liked the ending but the romance is sooo boring. Addie’s most redeeming quality is her spite towards Luc, but her and Henry are just so boring together.

Really enjoyed this book, I feel like it could receive a higher rating from me if I was in the mood to read, but when I read it I was in a slump and it took me a while to get through it. That being said though, I loved reading Addie’s story, and seeing how she grew overtime.

So beautiful. I loved the audiobook and think I’ll have to read it as a physical copy or ebook myself someday. I have a feeling there will be more to discover and enjoy with each re-read.

i really wanted it to click with me but it never happened. for me, personally, it was too long and too floral and too straight. the pacing fell apart at the end. the one black character was a sassy black woman stereotype
