This is the fourth book in the Legends of Abreia series and the second from Evaraine and Danric’s points of view. I really enjoyed this addition. I probably should have read the third book more recently, but I quickly caught up to what was going on. This book was paced slower than the others, but there were still moments of action. I enjoyed Evaraine and Danric’s growing relationship. It was nice to see the other characters from the first two books. It made me want to reread The Faceless Mage again. I’m really excited to find out what happens next.

many new twists!

I really enjoyed this book! The author did a great job of bringing together the threads of other couples’ stories and introducing a number of new and exciting plot twists. I can’t wait for the next book!

I’m fully invested in this story

I really did like their arc but the overall story really does have me fully invested. I wish a bit more light had been shed on some secrets but I still really liked this couple. Im looking forward to future books

Unnecessary evil wraiths added

Somewhat disappointed by the whole wraith thing. The story didn't need them. Then the introduction of certain characters at the end battle were also unnecessary. Yes, they are part of the same world, but maybe including them into thw next book would make more sense.

I had a hard time picturing Evaraine and Danric. They just didn't catch my interest as mich as Leisa and Kyrion did. I am glad they are a fairly big part of this 4th book.

Overall, the writing is great. This author can spin a tale with plenty of twists, drama, humor, and inspiration.
