I loved this book. There are so many layers to it and it covers so many topics that people experience throughout their lives, but not in a way where you feel overwhelmed. Well, you feel overwhelmed for the main character, but not from the way the story is presented to you. There are some heavy situations involving grief and mental health, and religion plays a very large role as well. The main character is so likeable and easy to root for.

Five star from me! A feel good book, had a Where the Crawdad Sings feel to it. I fell in love with the love story and the whole family. Great development of characters.
