All the feels

From the very first page I was sucked into this beautiful story. Heartache, love, laughter, this book has it all. A perfect way to close out this wonderful series. I can't wait to see what is to come from this author

I dislike a female main character who becomes a doormat, and this one might as well have had "Welcome, please be a jerk to me and I'll always take you back without a proper amount of groveling" tattooed on her forehead.

Consequently, I kind of wanted to bang mine against a wall during many moments of this book. Sigh.

I could not WAIT for Lilly's story and Jessica Prince didn't disappoint! Lilly was so outspoken and fiercely devoted to Eliza when she needed her that I just KNEW her happily ever after was going to be amazing. Lilly owns the dance studio in Pembrooke and immediately falls in love with Sophia, Quinn's daughter and newly minted ballerina. Quinn and Lilly slowly build a friendship which turns into romance, but Quinn can't seem to get over his first wife's untimely passing.

Will he be able to get past his loss to recognize what's in front of him? As if you even need to ask - Jessica Prince delivers BIG TIME with this one. She ripped my heart out and then patched it back together. You can't go wrong with Jessica Prince books!!

An emotional roller coaster

I loved this book. There hasn’t been a Jessica Prince book I’ve read that I disliked. However this is one of the heavier books I’ve read by her. This story is one of immense grief and sorrow. Quinn and Lilly both had to fight tooth and nail for their love. It was heartbreakingly beautiful.

This was another amazing book by Jessica Prince. It wasn't my favorite though. I loved that Quinn and Lilly were friends before anything else, and that in the end they ended up together.. They ended up being a perfect match in the end, but it was hard to see that throughout the book and really want to root for them.

I loved Lilly in the last book but she got a personality transplant I guess. Quinn was meh.
Dead wife really did have center stage here.

TW for Dani: dad.

Quinn pushed Lilly away too many times for my liking. I'm glad he got help at the end & became a better partner but I feel like he should've started putting in the work a bit earlier in the book. Also him wearing his wedding ring for so long was a bit weird. Like I get he was still drowning in his grief but it was kinda awkward

It took a while but I eventually got into it and I liked the angsty goodness that comes with the h being rejected. The H is the height of selfishness and he didn't endear himself to me AT ALL. The heroine too forgiving at the end. I like how submissive she was trying not to tip the balance in their relationship, pussy footing around. Becuase that there is real world angst. After the seperation he knew he was working his way back to her, she didn't have a clue. So what I didn't like is it only takes one grand gesture after months of torture and all is forgiven.

4.5 stars! Well- I loved this so much I read it in one sitting! Such great characters- and although it can be read as a standalone, I always enjoy catching up with characters I've met in other books. Jessica Prince writes angsty romance so well- I felt everyone emotion Lilly and Quinn were having as I read it. I don't often cry in books, but this one definitely brought a tear to my eye. Love love love this book!
