I am glad I continued!! This was better than the first one IMO. I definitely liked the writing a bit better, and I appreciated the character development.

I loved this almost as much as the first, despite it being painfully predictable. Once again, the delivery is clean and the POV switch is complimentary instead of distracting, but we are left feeling.. well.. unfulfilled. I'll hopefully be back to add to this review once holiday chaos ends, but in the meantime, I would happily recommend this if you enjoyed the kind worth killing

This one was slightly better than the first one in some ways but not as good in others. Henry Kimball is back and hunting a pair of killers. After a former student hires Kimball to follow her cheating husband and his supposed mistress, they end up dead. But could these be linked to a school shooting in Kimball's past?
My biggest issue with this book is that none of the main characters/ POV characters are likable. The story I found was more interesting and twisty.
The narrator was pretty good, but not the best with voices. Overall a solid 4-star book.

The elegant sequel to the Kind Worth Killing, and it didn't disappoint. Henry Kimball is now a PI, hired by Joan an ex pupil from his teaching days, to investigate her husbands affair, Henry senses that it's not what it seems. Told from various points of view, and I enjoyed it when Lily turns up. Several twists and turns to the book, which whilst I expected twist, some of them crept up on me. A very satisfying, smart, twisty, "fun" read.
