If I had continued this book I would have gained new insecurities bc the fmc has a lot of body image issues and I think I would have adapted them.

The tension. The spice. The confidence.
Ugh I loved this book but definitely wasn’t expecting it.
I love that our MFC was a thick girlie because we don’t get representation about it and also show the truth with it when it comes to self image.
I loved that Jared loved himself and couldn’t get enough of our thick Latina queen and that he kept saying how they were equals.. never belittling her or making it as if he was better than.
Although there was some miscommunication I didn’t mind it. I loved Jared’s unrelenting determination to get his girl.
Am I the only one that doesn’t mind a cheating trope WHEN it’s the two main characters getting together…. I eat that shit up!! lol

Compared to the first book, it felt pretty generic because the first book was a wild ride. But the writing, and the character development from both MCs, and the story was beautiful. I love this book and I love them.
Graphic: Sexual content, Medical trauma, Infidelity, and Medical content
Moderate: Death of parent
