This was a really interesting deviation from the usual style of the books being from Avery's POV and I really enjoyed it. I've always wondered how the boys think, and to see what Jameson and Grayson feel was a fun change.

I will admit that, like many, I was much more invested in Grayson's story and felt it went a bit deeper, but that's not to say Jameson didn't have his own struggles. They clearly approach life and their struggles in a very different way - Grayson is very calm and calculated, while Jameson prefers to take life at speed, so the depth of each situation feels different since Jameson can appear more flippant, but he's still going through his own struggles in his own way.

I definitely thought there would be a twist where Jameson was actually the secret son and I was almost disappointed when that wasn't the case.

Avery felt quite flat in this one, and I think that's the point since it's not from her POV and she now has her own life and things happening, but I definitely prefer her as the narrator.

So much repetition. Could have used a lot of editing. It’s the 4th book in the series, no need to repeat constantly what is already introduced in other books and in this book.

I liked the perspective shift between Grayson and Jameson. While the other stories focus on Avery, she becomes a side character here. I loved seeing the boys’ relationships grow and change.
