🇬🇧: This book is so beautifully written. What if you know you are going to die but you don't know how or when. The thought process of two people who received this phone call is described very nicely. Two beautiful people, completely different but with the same fate. The book is very moving and makes you think. It is also written in such a way that you fly through it. It is very nice that the chapters are short and that you can see who it is about at the top of the chapter. All in all a beautiful book with a beautiful subject

I was told this book was going to make me cry, and don’t get me wrong it’s sad because, just as the title says, They Both Die At The End. However, I had a bit more expectations for the death scenes in particular based on the hype I was given. So take that with a grain of salt I guess.

Two dudes met. They fell in love. They lived. That’s our story.

This book truly captures the magic of two teen boys falling in love within 24 hours. Mateo Torrez, who has lived his life stuck in his room living life through the screen, gets a call at 12:22am that he will die at the end of the day. Rufus Emeterio receives a similar call at 1:05am while being someone he’s not. Through the use of Last Friend, an app designed for people looking to make a new friend on their End Day, the two boys meet and save each other through love and friendship. They Both Die At The End is a fast-paced, wholesome book that teaches you to take chances and live your life to the fullest.

You may be born into a family, but you walk into friendships. Some you’ll discover you should put behind you. Others are worth every risk.
