FMC gains her confidence

I liked this book the best out of the series I’ve read so far. Eve was a shy curvy woman with low self confidence and a tumultuous relationship with her mother. Tren was a confident leader who was not great at communicating. Tren helped Eve on her journey to higher self esteem, but Eve did most of the heavy lifting.
I was a little unsure about how Eve came to be a naturally talented sniper and was missed for military training, but trusting the author paid off.

Spice: 4/5

Triggers: violence, gore, fat phobia, permanent scars, grief, pandemic (off page)

Eve (h) is a scarred, insecure young woman who wants to be a part of the mission to Sagittarian One, but in order to do so her fighting skills must be assessed, and she must be mated with a Varoolian male. Testing shows that she's actually an exceptional sniper and that her mate is Tren (H), a Varoolian Protector. He sees nothing but strengths in her abilities and appearance, but Eve's insecurities threaten their relationship. Really great worldbuilding and strong, supportive characters throughout the series with a lot of action and adventure.

I picked this book up because I saw it on an author's Facebook Page and it promised steam and a protective hero with mating instincts and fated mates trope.

It delivered! It was a great read!!! and liked getting to know another dimension and species. I was a little lost - I didn't read the previous books in the series, it might be a good idea to start on book one and go from there to get a better understanding of what is going on.

Tren was a hottie - he was looking for his mate. He finds her in Eve: a curvy, scarred human and their connection is instant.

Great read! I will get the previous books now cause I need to know things. :D

Eve and Tren

This is a great series. The story continues as the humans and Varool fight back against the Folri. I liked that Eve is a curvy girl with some insecurities about her body. Tren loves every bit of her. They hit it off right away and spicy spice ensue!

Okay, I guess.

This felt like a really easy read, the miscommunication trope was mild, the heroine’s insecurities and low self esteem were a bit annoying, the hero was, I don’t know, average? The story was…nice.

Another fun book with great steamy scenes! Eve is a little different from the other women in this series, more insecure, but she turns out awesome. And Tren is so supportive of her. They fight the evil bugs together and get the coolest alien pet. A mini-dragon! It was really hot the way Tren kept them locked together after sex!
