I was super excited to read this because That’s Not My Name was a 5 star read for me. This one was fast paced and twisty. I feel like I liked the first book a bit better, but I still enjoyed this one.x it was entertaining for sure.

This book kept me on my toes. It's a total page turner! I saw a few of the twists coming, but they still managed to shock me when they hit. I didn't like it as much as That's Not My Name, but this one was fast-paced and thrilling in all the right ways.

I called it. Just saying.

⭐ 3/5

This was very easy for me to guess the 'whodunit?' aspect of the book.
I definitely prefer 'That's Not My Name' over this book, but her writing is just as consistent, so I'll be looking forward to reading what Megan Lally comes up with next!

he main female character in this book was extremely frustrating to listen to. She was whiny, entitled, and extremely dense to the situation that was happening to her. While the storyline wasn’t a huge surprise to me, there were some portions of the storyline that were handled well and weren’t expected. Solid story, the main character was just obnoxious and hard to relate to.

Okay, so I’ve been in a reading slump since June started, and guess what finally pulled me out? Megan Lally’s No Place Left to Hide. And listen, I loved her first book That’s Not My Name—so picking this up was a no-brainer.

BUT OH MY GOD.

This book is fast-paced, engaging, and completely unputdownable. It absolutely cured my slump… and replaced it with RAGE 😤😂 Because the characters? They are all hideous. And I mean hideous. Backstabbing. Lying. Manipulative. Every last one of them! Even the so-called “best friend”—I’m side-eyeing her HARD. 👀

There are zero good people in this story. Z-E-R-O. This book taught me one very important lesson:
💀 Trust. No. One. 💀
Not your friends, not your group, not even your closest ally. Everyone’s got an agenda and it’s every man for themselves.

And the ending? Let’s just say the characters end up doing exactly what they judged the main character for. Hypocrisy at its finest. So yes, I’m frustrated, but also impressed at how deeply this book made me feel.

A gripping, emotional rollercoaster that reminded me why I love messy, morally grey thrillers—but also why I have trust issues now. 🙃

Rating: 3.5 🌟

I’m really not sure what to make of this story.

This really is such a promising plot and started off pretty strong.

But I feel like it just fell a little flat—the characters weren’t interesting - in fact they were kind of mean - and the Before and After chapters were so different. After was action-packed and Before was kind of boring?

The ending wasn’t satisfying and I finished it kind of annoyed.
