3.5. Super quick and easy thriller read. Brooke has finally been accepted into Yale and decides to go to a party with her best friend, Jena, to celebrate in hopes of connecting with her longtime crush. Although it's not all fun and games as a night a year ago is still following Brooke everywhere.
The plot twists didn't get me too much, but still pretty crazy. Rated 3.5 because this felt super YA but I was still entertained

What the heck! I was screaming this the entire time! It was a great easy read. Good twists. I kind of saw them coming. But it was good nonetheless.

Very predictable. Didn’t like the FMC. The ending was okay, but I wasn’t emotional about it. It was just kind of bleh….
I don’t know if the author was trying to put in some morally gray thoughts in there. If thats the case then she did a good job there. But other than that it was a big miss.
I loved her first book so much I’ll give her another chance on her next one. But this was a big miss.

3.5 Stars ⭐️. A couple of the twists got me. This was a fun little popcorn thriller. Easy to read. Not complicated. The story was very much rooted in reality. I could see this happening to someone. I enjoyed the author’s previous book a little more but this was still good.
