The intrigue continues to build in this third book in the Trail series. From within his prison cell, Shaun plans his escape and his revenge against Kat, blaming her for him being there in the first place. Eric's and Kat's get an upheaval that changes their earlier perspectives on family and perhaps even their attitude toward Marty. Marty unwittingly gets tangled up in the drug-runners schemes, which is certain to have adverse affects for him in the days to come.

Lots of great attention to details in the setting and personalities of the characters makes this even more entertaining. Musty basements, overcrowded apartments, and more let you envision the characters and where they are as the actions take place. A completely engrossing and entertaining story from start to finish.
