Really enjoyed the writing! The author has created a fascinating world and a fast-paced plot. I enjoyed the subtle character-building and loved Lila and Kell. Also, Kell’s coat was pretty cool.

I really love this novel and the novel after it picks up really organically, which is cool. The world rules are simple and detailed. The characters are flawed and loveable. I wouldn’t say it’s anything ground breaking, but a very lovely fantasy world to be immersed in.
