Overall not bad, but Phaedra is supremely stupid in this one.
I really wanted to like this, being an Austen fan, but I just couldn’t get into it. Seemed like there was more corny whodunnit than Jane Austen. It was cute, I’ll leave it at that.

Sweet cozy murder mystery with Austen references throughout - sometimes cute, sometimes cheesy. A nice easy read!
This one was better than the first one. I felt like I got to know the characters better with more of their backgrounds being revealed this time.
This was way better than book one for me made the characters a little more likeable.
3.5 rounded up. There were some inconsistencies in this one that were a bit annoying- seemed like editing oversights. But the plot was pretty good and I still like the characters. Guessed the bad guy about 2/3rds of the way in.
