Like the other books in this series, this story is definitely over the top and a bit crazy, but also very fun! There are bigger social messages embedded, but the story is primarily just lighthearted and enjoyable.

I love this series because the books are all fun and sweet and don't take themselves too seriously. This book was no exception. The premise was fun, I loved the journey (literal and emotional) they went on, and the HEA was very satisfying.

Monster meet cutes are basically my new favorite thing. Add a magical mating bond tattoo, and I'm a goner.

I really enjoyed the adventure this story takes us on. The only thing that loses a point for me, is the ping pong match of emotions and indecision. I promise it's not a bad thing, just a thing that personally gives me anxiety, and I have a hard time losing myself within the characters (kinda taking me out of the reading "zone", if that makes sense)

It's still delicious monster smut.

It's so worth it to add to your book stacks
