Seriously I LOVE this series oh my gosh! The storyline and the universe are all so beautifully developed. And don't even get me STARTED on the characters because there are no words to describe how BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN the characters are!!!!!

I agree that the Overlander Chronicles, at least the first 3 books, are formulaic. But I appreciate that morals and good and bad aren’t black and white or as expected.
