Finally, the story of Villier

After a long journey of 5 books, Villier got his chance of love and definitely a true gem of this series. Charming, witty and naughty Villier got to his full potential in this one. However, as typical H, one must be a little feather brain

I wanted to like this book, I really did. I’ve been missing Julia Quinn, and already reread most of her books, but I don’t know if it was just this book or the author, but there was way too much going on and it was super unclear I never knew who to root for or even what was really going on.

I wanted to like this book and ultimately I did. I found the book to be quite satisfying in the ending. The plot was quite meandering but it felt true for the characters. Villiers was definitely different in this book than others which I think is to be expected. Kids change people. I really loved Eleanor. The scene with the pug was hard to stomach but I really liked the book anyways.

Continuing with Megan's Romance Must-Reads list, another surprisingly fun read. James is an adept writer with a clear literary background. Enjoyed the details in this book, and again - a strong female lead who goes against the grain. Love that!
