I enjoyed many of the quotes and short stories in this book but I found it to be overwhelming. I listen to this book while walking. It is a 10 hour audiobook and the actual text has numerous chapters. I found that to be very overwhelming. Why does it take 10 hours of an audiobook to help you to stop worrying? It gave many ideas and suggestions of how to stop worrying but I found them to be to numerous. As it stated in the end this book should not be read straight through but used as a guide book and read when needed.

I have honest to God been freed from the habits of anxiety and worry through this book. 

I read less than 100 pages of this book. Didn't even make it halfway. But I didn't need to. The first 2 tips have really been a game-changer for me, and I'm pretty satisfied with how they have helped me manage my worrying. If I feel like those strategies aren't working for me anymore, I will absolutely go back to the library for this book and get another few tips.

FYI this book is mostly composed of anecdotes. After reading of 2 or 3 cases where a particular strategy has helped a person, you can definitely skim to the next chapter if you so choose and not miss a thing.

While this took me a while to get from cover to cover, it’s filled with useful advice. Most advice you know but sometimes you just need someone to tell you. Great tool!

Beginning chapters were helpful, though most of it were common knowledge and common sense, it was nice to have a few reminders to not take things too seriously and “stop” worrying. The rest was extremely repetitive and I honestly skimmed through more than 2 thirds of it bc I just didn’t see the value in reading it. Would only recommend reading the first few chapters.

A bit dated but still some good stuff.

Had to skip a lot of parts as it can get so repetitive. But still giving it 4 stars because it helped me a lot with my anxieties.
