The Grishaverse is one of my favorite fantasy worlds to visit! I love every book Bardugo writes about it, and this one was no exception.

Wow. This universe hurts me, I loved every second of it, and I need more! So many problems were solved, but WHY must it end like that??!

I also don’t know how to feel about some of the plot endings (for example Nina’s) since they felt rather rushed or otherwise just felt unnecessary. But otherwise, stunning book as always, just took a second or two to get through.

it's been so long since I've read the Grishaverse, I had no choice but to rate this 5 stars. I love all these people so damn much.

hey so what the fuck? this was better than the first. it had a much clearer plot and direction. overall a more enjoyable read. but girl? zoya is a dragon and queen? the Darkling sacrificed himself? and the last line of the book is “tell kaz brekker we need him”?? that’s a CHEAP ASS ENDING. that’s the grand finale to the grisha verse! if she wasn’t planning on having him be a main character in this duology, leave him and inej out of it. the last 100 pages felt like she was so lost in the sauce she drowned. I was honestly really happy with the book until the end but now I feel insulted by the ending she gave the readers. DUMB

Zoya. Nina. Hanne.

That's all that needs to be said.
