I had a lot of fun with this book. I really loved being with Bowen and Tamsyn. They end up accidentally going back in time together and that is when the fun really begins. They have to solve a problem before they can make it back to their time and they are on a time schedule. This is the third book in the series and I think it is my favorite. You don't need to read the first two in the series to enjoy this one, but the few scenes with the characters from the earlier books will be more enjoyable if you start at the beginning of the series. All of the books in this series are enjoyable.

Thanks Haper Collins for the ARC!!!

I love this series, I love Erin Sterling's writing even more! Tamsyn and Bowen were such a cute couple. The magic, the time travel, ugh so good. I'm glad this book took place in Wales and not Grave Glens, it helped the story feel unique and didn't seem repetitive with the other two in the series. Also the bathtub scene, I'm still blushing!

thank you to netgalley and avon and harper voyager for this eARC!

i really enjoyed this book. definitely gonna need to read the other books in the graves glen series.

i have to say, im really glad i didn’t have to spend very long waiting for him to come to terms with his feelings because that would have pissed me off. honestly, despite what i’d normally say, i kind of like the way we time-skipped those beginning stages of their working relationship. it worked really well for the time line of the novel.

i also really liked the bordering-on-protective thing he had going on. i think the rugged mountain man thing worked for me.

i was a big fan of the plot. the magic, the going back in time, the reasons they both had for being there. it all worked so well and made me want to keep reading the whole way through.

the plot-twist with emerald at the end was a little corny but that’s okay. the ending overall was nice and the reunion with declan was very sweet.

all in all, this was a fantastic book and i would for sure recommend this, especially right now (around christmas). loved it.

I’ve got to be done. I’m just skimming at this point.

I loved the two other Penhallow stories but this was not it… far too insta-lovey, to the point where it doesn’t make sense to be a full story. Leading into the complete lack of personality and chemistry between the two main characters. To the poorly configured magical conflict of it all. It was just not good. And while I do wonder what happens at the end, I’m stopping at 86%.

This was my favorite of the three books - exciting plot of which the ending was hard to anticipate, very steamy, and a new set of characters. Only anachronism that bothered me is that in the first scene of the time jump, Harri calls Lady Meredith "Annie," but at the end when Tamsyn calls her "Annie," she says no one has ever called her that before.

I’ve read this whole trilogy and when I read the description for this I thought it would be my least fav but alas! It’s my favorite so far. Maybe because I’m a sucker for grumpy x sunshine. I also listened to this one and the Scottish accents were too fun. I loved the mystery and I was sad when it ended. A good time all around!

DID NOT FINISH: 10%

The audiobook is TERRIBLE - DO NOT LISTEN. The narrator was clearly given no character information or didn't bother to read the first two books in the series and decided to give Vivi and Gwyn Welsh accents. It's truly so terrible to listen to I had to stop. Going to switch to the digital book version and try to forget what I just listened to.
