This graphic novel was simply amazing. I love the lessons Zoey learned, and to have all five of the stories from the Fledgling Handbook actually come to life along with all the House of Night characters. The short stories tied in with the big stories and life lessons made it a loving read! I especially loved all the parts with Aphrodite, and also her being seen from her vulnerable side.

I picked this up not knowing it was based off a YA series. I did like the historical references. However it's hard to enjoy as a standalone because it feels like it references things from the book series that you don't know without reading it.
