I've read a fair amount of romance and this book's take on the genre is refreshingly different. The author's writing style is clean, clear, concise, and stylish. Easy to read and well edited. The lovemaking parts are well-crafted. They felt personally tailored to this specific couple, which is the most originality you can ask for with such scenes. This book will definitely make you feel a wide range of emotions, and the dialogue is excellent. This is a brief read, but an entertaining one. It's fair to say that it swept me away for a few hours :)

A diverse newlywed couple faces a nightmare scenario bringing grief and anguish. One year later and a shock discovery alters the characters lives.

This story is full of raw emotion, anguish and has the fallout of living through a disaster. It touches on mental health and disability, as well as obligation to family. The writing is lovely and I enjoyed seeing a couple that came from different backgrounds (Chinese and Italian).

This couple lived in a bubble previously sharing only the bare minimum about their families as they both lived OS where you can reinvent yourself. Still I found this a little jarring but understandable in these circumstances.
