Gorgeous gorgeous picture book, for kids and adults
Each page was beautiful and it was clear there was a lot of thought behind every concept shown.
It gave me comfort and existencial terror at the same time, which was simply great

"The cat walked through the world, with its whiskers, ears, and paws..."
I have read this children's book no less than nine times this week. It reminds me of the poem by Byron, "She walks in beauty, like the night..." which I have always felt was about a cat, or a cat person.
'They All Saw a Cat' is a children's book about perspective. It's also pure purring poetry.

Fun picture book about perspective. And cats, of course.

Wonderful way to explain different points of view to little ones. Loved the book!
I loved this book. The cat is the cat but seen through the eyes of different creatures, its appearance changes dramatically in such interagency ways. It's all about perspective!! So interesting for discussion...
The illustrations showing perspective are absolutely wonderful.
Each character in this wonderfully illustrated book sees the cat in a different way. What a great introduction to perspective and perception! Perfect pick for teachers looking to bridge a lesson plan or for parents looking for an engaging read that is sure to start a conversation. ~Alexis S.
