That was dragging. I liked the premise, but the overall execution not so much. Apart from a few passages, the writing style didn't bring me much joy. I feel indifferent. Idk. Well, it may have not been the right book for me, and that's okay, but it may be exactly that for someone else.

It was good, but parts of it got too ridiculous for me to fully enjoy it without being very annoyed.

it was a really interesting novel, the plot (and the plot twist) was quite original, i couldn't predict everything that will happen, it wasn't as predictable as many books i've read, which made it interesting to read

i had to write down something many times (by that i mean quotes) which, in my case, means the book was really good

This book means everything to me. You know in the movies where the reader is ripping through the pages in anticipation for what comes next? That was me. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions and audibly gasped multiple times at the twists and turns the book was taking me through.  Upon nearing the end, I went and reread some parts as well as the journal entries/poems of Arthur’s grandfather and began to piece things together. It just all came together so perfectly and beautifully. As another reader said, I put down the book at the end and felt immense compassion towards the characters. Arthur was frustrating at times, and lovable at others - realizing what he went through only puts this more into perspective. I’m so glad I came across this book. There was never a dull moment for me personally. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait to reread.
