Asimov's writing is hilarious. Some of the insults in this collection of short stories are delivered with phenomenal wit (and would do well completely out of context). Would highly recommend; I'll definitely be reading more books by this author.

It definitely did not meet my expectations for such a famous work. My recommendation is to read it quickly.

By far the best part of this book to me, was seeing the foundations of science fiction robotic stories. Some of the short story dynamics were uncomfortable with today’s standards, however, the mental gymnastics in the stories were just as fascinating now as they were 90 years ago when they were written.

The short stories in this collection are independent, so you can easily dip in an out, or choose to read just a couple. If you are going to read just one, I suggest you pick up Evidence.

Quote I like from the introduction: “50 years is a long time. Not when you are looking back on them.”
