This book felt a little different to the previous ones and I loved it. L J Ross can really write a villain for us to hate!

These books get better and better - bloody brilliant. Didn’t want to put it down, creative double crime in a beautiful setting and now a new serial killer to Cath 10/10

Another winner from LJ Ross. This time Ryan and his team are delving into murder in Kielder Forest, the body of a young boy has been disturbed by divers, turns out the boy disappeared in the 80's. Add to that the murder of a student who was visiting the area with Ryan's wife Anna. The only thing I didn't enjoy about the book was the Superintendent Lucas and her vendetta against Ryan, seems Northumbria CID aren't destined for a normal Superintendent in charge after all!
