Catherine Morland, or how an English girl learns about life. From childhood to adulthood. From naivety to the reality of things.
That's another magnificent novel by Jane Austen.

An interesting read though much more telling than showing. Very quick too. The last work I hadn't read by Austen, whose books I really enjoy.

I fully expected to hate this book, Austen has never seemed up my alley, but it was hilarious, suspenseful, and poked fun at the upper classes in properly enjoyable ways.
