i loved this book!! the banter was everything! it was a funny, lighthearted, as well as a romantic read that was quite enjoyable. 

the FMC, amy, is a force. she is a breath of air to this genre. it is hard to find books that have a FMC in her 30s that can’t figure out how to pull her life together. it’s refreshing to see from a younger view! it shows that it’s ok to not know what you are doing and everything takes time.

jake is the divine. he is the hottest!  his personality is one of the best i’ve seen from a MMC. i love the introverted aspect of him. his flaws? none. 

i just HAVE to add the revenge amy got on chris is empowering! i loved that she took her power back! 

but with all of that i feel like amy is missing something and maybe that’s the point; her being 30 and lost. i also felt like it needed more umph. i LIVE for drama and tears and i felt like it fell short in that area.

That first chapter?! Oh my… After first, I immediately felt for Amy, but by the end, I was laughing so hard!

Things didn't start as anticipated, or should I say, ended? Anywho, Amy is everything I would want in a bestie, and though her new path wasn't easy, she deserves every moment of happiness.

And Chris? Yeah, he deserved everything that happened to him and so much more…
