Sweet & funny rom-com. I’m a sucker for a London setting so having the main characters walk around different London settings to write a script was fun. The main character is definitely some next level cringe though. I liked the author’s previous novel The Summer Job more, but this novel had the same fun & intriguing storyline.

Not quite as good as the summer job imo but that's because you can't beat a scottish guy! I did like Jake too though. Amy was frustrating at times but overall I enjoyed it

It doesn’t hurt to read a purely romance novel every now & then.

I enjoyed the payback at the end but felt it also got a little cheesy at the end. The growth of the relationship wasn’t really there for me.
