If I were to judge the book on its own, I would say it's a solid 4. Having read some of their other work, I couldn't help but noticed the recycled characters.
As soon as the necklace mystery was introduced, I was hooked. I didn't originally care about the romance but the banter was very cute and the MCs grew on me.
I wish we had seen more of the supposed best friend and the sibling. It made no sense to give them an important title, include them in the story, to end up being just another bad female / female relationship. Again, a recycled character / trope in Sophie Kinsella's work.

Minor: Fatphobia
