At the beginning, this book was a bit too over the top for me, but I loved it by the end. Super cute! There were several laugh out loud moments and I read with a huge smile on my face. Kinsella's books are better than the typical chick-lit fare and I would easily give them more stars if they had better language. I will definitely be reading more of Kinsella's books.

This is such a sweet book. Loved seeing Sadie and Lara’s relationship develop throughout the book. The ending made me cry (in a good way, I promise).

I love Sophie Kinsella. She is one of my favorite authors, and Twenties Girl did not dissapoint. I laughed out loud. A tad perdictable (but what Kinsella book is not?) but still a great book. Keep them coming Sophie!!!

I enjoyed this book much more than expected. It was slow to get into the story and initially I thought the storyline would be silly, but it wound up being a cute story about what is important in life and how to "live". But don't let me trick you into thinking this is a deep book, if you get past the first 100 pages though you will be rewarded with a charming story and will adore Sadie's story.

I wanted to really like this book, and I think I would have if it wasn't for 2 things:
1 - the language. Why do British authors have to swear so much?
2 - one of the characters - the main character's aunt that comes back as a ghost - is extremely annoying. I know that was kind of the point, but she was just so unlikeable. And at the end, I know the author tries to turn it around to show that she really was a good person, but by that point, I really didn't like her and no matter what happened, I was just too far gone. I think it was just a little too over the top.
But overall, it was entertaining. Which, it's Chick Lit, so I'm sure that's the whole point. But I do have to admit that I cried a few tears at the end and found it a bit touching. It was a fast read, especially considering it's length. But I got through it quite quickly and it kept me wanting to read it.
