Pacing was horrible, character development was nonexistent, and this author managed to take a likely very interesting woman and make it her incredibly one dimensional. Just not good.

Didn’t love. Either write a biography or a more in-depth historical fiction. She’s a fascinating woman who mostly (except when it came to her multiple marriages) seemed to be ahead of her time. Found the book to be all over the place.
