I have issues with this book, and series as a whole. Mainly Fallon, she's just not a likeable person and it's tricky reading from only her POV. That being said I love this world and the politics and there is so much going on but it reads so well! Lore is a great character most of the time but he also has poor communication skills and holds too much back which account for so much of the issues between him and Fallon. But it kept me reading and I do want more!

Not quite as good as the first - couldn't get over Lore's secrets and Fallon's moments of idiocy - but still enjoyed it overall. It could have been a little bit shorter IMO.
