Couldn’t stop listening to this one. Really wanted to give it 5 stars but Fallon still annoys me.

Not as charmed by book 2 as I was by book 1. However, I was still absolutely entranced by the relationship between the two main characters - I loved all the details with the Crows wearing marks on their faces, the little feather tattoo... The only thing that spoiled the fun was Fallon's attitude, which was bratty, and selfish. Her character development seems to have stalled in book 2, and the only thing that kept me hooked was the dynamic with the other characters. I loved the dialogues, and even Fallon's inner voice was fun, if a little annoying at times. The TENSION with Lore was fantastic, and we even got a cliffhanger which is a clear promise of bloody revenge.
